    Any type of legacy accolades, should come down to who you beat, with consideration given to when/how..... and nothing else.

    Not arguing with you about what the HoF COULD do, just what they SHOULD do.

    Generally, historians are concerned with who/when/how, that's it.

    Either way, you are jumping the gun a bit aren't you ?

      Not jumping the gun, just explaining why GGG doesn't need to fight Canelo to make a name for himself.

        Because, that is how it's done man.

        You have to beat a top dog to take his shine, it's always worked that way.

        Golovkin wasn't interested in Ward, which only leaves Cotto and Canelo.

        Golovkin should be desperate to fight BOTH of them, like everyone else is.
