Guerrero landed less punches against Garcia then he did against Mayweather, and got hit with more power punches. Shouldn't be surprising, they think they defeated Mayweather as well.

oh i'm not a fanboy of any promoters or networks. i'm just not into unnecessary rematches. push your agenda somewhere else fgt.

Guerrero won 5 of the first rounds (some people arguably could say 6 rounds which would have result on a draw) but then in the second half of the fight it was very clear he showed his advanced age (chronologically and boxing-wise speaking). I don't think that waiting longer for a rematch could do things better. I said the first time: neither Garcia nor Guerrero deserved to fight for the vacant WBC WW title since Garcia only credit was defeating another past his prime boxer in Malignaggi while Guerrero practically lost against Aaron Martinez. There was supposed to be a real tournament to get a more deserving champion and all of the sudden the fight was changed to the already known farce.

I don't have a qualm one way or the either over the decision. As a matter of fact, I thought the fight was so close that it could have easily been a draw or could have gone to either fighter.

It was the battle of Robert's effective aggressiveness by constantly walking Garcia down and backing him up onto the ropes vs Danny's clean and accurate combination punching which was constantly snapping Guerrero's head back.

So let the fans be the judge who won that fight.

Guerrero is an easy fight for anybody at 147 and Danny does need an easy fight since he's not planning on fighting thurman or porter. Also the fight did good ratings so i can actually see a bs rematch in the works
