Imagine Floyd or Pacquiao losing to Carlos Molina. Just imagine.

And its mixed martial arts. Choking someone out is an art. Go into a BJJ class and tell them they are chicken ****.
lol you sound upset, Antonio. What I'm referring to; is placing a hand over somebodies mouth and cutting of their breathing. Actually smothering somebody. To me that's ****ed up. You don't like it? **** off. This is a boxing forum. Don't forget that. I don't care how much you've become an MMA fan. At all. I'm not on Sherdog, potna.

Yea bro it's cool how you can win choking someone out or putting em in a arm bar. Pathetic sport fight like a man

If taking the fight to the ground wasn't the obvious recourse of A LOT of MMA fighters who can't take the heat in a standup fight it might not be as much of a turnoff. But it is what it is, and I don't care for it. I'm a boxing fan. I'm also of a certain generation and culture, and to us you're a vagina if you need to tackle somebody. I've seen no hopers get KTFO in a fight because they have enough honor and integrity to take their beating like a man. People like MMA? Cool. Me, I don't **** with that. I knock a man down. I'll let him get up.

Oh, and yes, Antonio. I do think it's absolutely chicken **** to fight that way. 1000%. "Choking somebody is an art." That made my day.

How about instead of me going to a class and calling everybody chicken**** maybe your big bad ass should shut me up, yeah? You're talking way tough, bra. Is this some internet ****? You don't know who's on the other end, duke.

silly thread. people should prefer whatever they prefer.

MMA isn't greater than boxing and boxing isn't greater than MMA. they're both entertainment and everybody is going to have different entertainment preferences.

                  1. ****** comparison. That's like saying, "NFL >>> Basketball."

                  2. Diaz is NOT a top 5 Welterweight. Top 10 at Lightweight, sure. But he's not top 5 at 155lb.

                  3. The notion that grappling isn't "fighting like a man" is ****ing ******ed. It's a different type of fighting and, like Boxing, is definitely IS an art and a skill.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one.. popping a triangle choke, or an anaconda, etc takes a tremendous amount of technique and skill..

Wouldn't it be more interesting if you explained why it takes skill? In most cases I see that being applied to an exhausted opponent who is ready to submit. I'm curious to see what you have to say.
