I prefer the sport of boxing all day long, but i do feel that the UFC has more competitive fights, and the top guys seem to fight each other a lot more.

Boxing should take some lessons. Less organisations, less belts.

Ha I believe you - sometimes I check out MMA forums and I see the same themes as here.

Watching the Yafai brothers on the weekend was more enjoyable than the McGregor or the Holm fight. UFC doesn't come close to boxing in terms of enjoyment/excitement.

Please show me a UFC fight that is as exciting or surpasses the excitement of Gatti vs Ward, Barrera vs Morales, Marquez vs Pacquaio, Ali vs Frazier/Foreman, Haggler vs Hearns, Corrales vs Castillo 1 etc. I have never seen a fight close to these in the UFC.

The UFC brass and Conor choose who they thought to be the easiest opponent on short notice that they could still sell on PPV. That's why he was a -400 favorite to win.

                  It just happened to backfire.

Reading the reactions on here, it's clear that a lot of you guys have a crush on on McGregor, kinda cute that you all bought into the hype.

Even though he lost, it was two of the most exciting rounds of fighting ever!!!

In the co main event we had Holly Holms getting submitted by Miesha tate...the former champ fighting a top 2 contender in her weigh division...sigh...

Shame on you boxing...we had champ and contenders fighting tuneups after another....
you really need to watch more fights

When your biggest star is 7-0 that just shows it is not much of a sport. 7 fricken wins. UFC = JOKE
