Word from who? Where is the source? HBO/Showtime ratings never come out till what Tuesday evening/night. How does someone know the ratings on Sunday already. Please provide your source.

Boxing has shot itself in the foot the past 2 weekends. Putting on simultaneous cards is bad enough, but then two minor cards up against MacGregor wasn't the best idea.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think cards like this would do much better on a Tuesday or Friday.

It's not boxing shooting itself in the foot. First class venues are hard to get this time of year; boxing is competing with NBA, NCAA and NHL. There are limited venues available, so the networks can't always move the cards to more favorable TV dates.

Friday is a terrible idea. Lowest HUT (homes using television) night of the entire week. Nothing gets viewership on Friday. That's where network series go to die.
