I don't get this question.

If an athlete cheated and no one knew he cheated then of course it still counts as a win. Maybe not in the athlete's mind, if he has any sort of moral apparatus at work there, but for everyone else it can't be accepted as anything else.

If someone is widely suspected of cheating but has not actually been caught then the meaningfulness of the win will necessarily be lessened. But you cannot just wholly dismiss the win since it did in fact take place and may, against all the odds, in fact be on the level.

I for one believe Scott took a dive against Wilder, but I have no proof to back that up. As such, I take very little away from the win, and don't give it much consideration among Wilder's best career victories. So in that case, yes, I'm not counting it as a meaningful win, though the fact that it's an official win with no subsequent fallout always assumes that it was in fact wholly legit.

If you are convinced the athlete cheated, but he still got the W. in your book, did he deserve the win?

It's your own count. Not the official one. Does he get the win even if in your opinion he strongly cheated. Will you still give him the win?

its really sad that people are so emotionally invested in people they dont know. People really wanted to see Mayweather get hurt.....every time he gets hit clean, they lose their ****, so imagine if he ever got dropped, or dropped a few times. Its not random when you know when the testing stops and these fools were saying he should fight Manny any way if he was so good. Being convinced in your own mind that a fighter cheated or not is totally different from a fighter being cleared as cheating or not.

One is an opinion of a fan and one is an official call.

If a fighter gets a W and the only thing that points to them cheating is your own thoughts, then yeah they still deserve the W, of course they do. If they get called into su****ion from the powers that be prior to the W, or even become outed as a cheat outright, then of course people have the right for it to feel tainted if the W isn't reversed, but that is down to an official ruling from the bodies, not a few opinions of fans. If it goes down in the books as a W then a fans opinion can not change it's legitimacy if all that exists is su****ion.

He didnt slow down until their were PED allegations and hasnt had kayo since 2009.....when Mayweather and his team proposed testing.
