Tyson Fury beat a washed up Wlad, which also is his only fight of any significance...

Floyd has never faced the toughest opponent at the time fans wanted to see the fight since you'd have to go to back to Castillo...

Conor takes the biggest challenges, so of course he's going to have losses... if Floyd moved up to fight Triple G or fought Pac 6 years ago or even fought Winky at 154 back when that fight was an option...he'd have more losses than just the Castillo gift...

The reason boxing is dying and UFC is thriving... boxing has become a clinch and run decision-never get the fight I want sport...while UFC protects no stars... much better product.
Lol last night may have finished the UFC. Connor was their bankable star after RR was smashed. Total disaster for them..

He should fight aldo again and Edgar then move up to 155.

Boxing is a real sport with real warriors where quitting or taking a knee is still looked down upon. That's why Holly Holm would rather be choked out cold than quit.

This punk McGregor basically went belly up like a dog once things got a little tough. He practically rolled over for Diaz and begged to be put out of his misery.
Ironcially this poster cites talking about "real warriors" but posts an avatar of Andre CoWard lol...

Boxing is a diva sport where clinch and run tactics win rounds and cherry-picks happen most of the year and the undercard fights are a disgrace...

UFC isn't built on 10 tune up fights and protecting stars with cherry-pick fights...

Ronda is bigger now than before the loss...Conor will be back..he was submitted, he didn't really take anywhere close to a beating...

Nobody is watching boxing when opponents can run and clinch and not only survive fights but also win them by sabotaging punch out put...

Pac v. Bradley will be the first PPV of the year for boxing and that fight is a disgrace...

Conor was a mouthy jerk who pretended he was bad enough to talk down Floyd. He also said he'd never tap out. He deserves worse than Fury is giving him.

The ignorance of some of the people who talk about MMA or the UFC never fails to make me laugh lol.

The amazing thing with the UFC that non-MMA people fail to realize is they are a star making factory. This time next year there will probably be 2 or 3 UFC stars created who are currently virtually unknown by casual fans that the UFC will have churned out that are getting mainstream attention. I mean just look at the history of this theory. People were saying the UFC was f#cked when GSP (the previous MMA PPV king) retired 2.5yrs ago & now last night they might have had their biggest PPV ever.

The UFC doesn't protect potential stars for 3-4yrs like they do in boxing. In boxing when you groom a guy for 3-4yrs you definitely will feel it when that guy loses in his 2nd big fight. The thing the UFC does differently is evenly match guys at all levels of the game so that the cream gradually rises to the top & stars are auto-created cuz someone is always winning & moving up the star making elevator. Its gonna be hard for the UFC to NOT to create stars on a regular basis with how they matchmake.

Connor didn't want the image of him sleeping on the canvas like Pac. That would have been meme-city.
