Fury has few loyalties. Probably breaks the heart of some of the pro-Irish/pro-UK fans but as someone who is anti-nationalism, I think it's great.

Going to ground was suicide, Mcgregor was right, he put too much into the first round expecting to finish him, and then gassed. he should have weathered the storm and run for the rest of the round. His head movement was non existent in the second.
At least in boxing you can tie up and take a break, in MMA if you gas, your finished.

Btw id love to see how long Fury lasts in a choke, maybe that would be Vlads best chance.

What did he want? For a guy who talked as much **** as McGregor did, the least he could've done is go out on his shield, fighting to the bitter end. Say what you want about Holly Holm, it's not like she died in her fight.

McGregor has hints of being a guy who is a front runner; happy to talk ****, push a fight when he's up, but when his opponent locks in, or even starts kicking McGregor's ass, Conor is quick to fold up and quit.

          defend that if you want.

You don't know **** about MMA.

For those who don't follow MMA McGregor has THREE quick taps now in MMA. He got to where he was Saturday night with two previous quick taps. He's not going anywhere. This is a more competitive sport than boxing. Guys fight top guys each fight. You will lose. There will be no Rocky or Floyd in MMA. Or if there is he's gonna be considered one of the greatest athletes of all time when he comes about.

I will say there is certainly a legit hole in McGregor's game with his lack of skills/confidence on the ground (I & a few others brought up the possibility of a submission loss in threads before the fight knowing this & knowing Diaz has underrated submission skills), but the reality is he's gotten over with that hole everyone he's fought in the UFC has surely known about with his high level of talent standing/striking.

I don't think its embarrassing going up 25 pounds and taking on a naturally bigger man. He wasn't Kod, but still, don't think many boxers or people in general can stand up to a choke hold. Huge boxing fan, but McGregor should stay at FeatherWeight. Either kill yourself making weight, or kill yourself from damage from heavier men. Lots of bitter kids on this site lol jeez

Looks like dude wrote a check that his ass couldn't cash. Wonder if he still wants a boxing match with Floyd? Or maybe he rather talk some more smack instead of actually getting his ass in the ring.

Sure, you can say that , but I've seen him show a lot of heart in the Mendes fight. He was bloodied up early, taken down multiple times, and he came back and knocked Mendes out. I think the fact that he's willing to take fights on short notice says a lot about his character.

Excuses r like a$$h0les we all got 1. Mcgregor was supposedly the best fighter in the planet but he gassed out because he was punching to hard? Lmao c'mon man, superior athletes just dont gas out after 5 minutes of hard work in their respective sport.

McGregor was to small for Diaz, Khan is about to share the same faith with Canelo.
