Grozny, Russia - Lucas 'Big Daddy' Browne (24-0, 21KOs) was cut, on the floor and hurt several times, but he sucked it up to capture the WBA 'regular' heavyweight championship with a tenth round stoppage of Ruslan 'White Tyson' Chagaev (34-3-1, 21KOs)

that's gotta be the easiest belt to snatch right now. Who'll get it first? Ortiz? Parker? Joshua? Wilder?

Browne has proven to be quite dangerous in later rounds.

Well done Lucas, a real nice, honest and humble guy in the interviews I've watched.

That was an upset, Browne fought the fight of his life. Chagaev is old and shot, but all credit to Browne, he had a gameplan. Who would have known he could box and move actually.. big big surprise.

Lucas Browne Heavyweight Champion of the world.

For the past 15 getting a belt at HW was a hard thing to do.

                    Not anymore.
