people are gonna complain about the weight advantage but diaz sucks (sorry but i have to be honest) and on top of that diaz didn't train at ALL for this fight. he jumped off the couch for this fight. anyone who knows the diaz brothers know that they are high level stamina "boxers" (they at least attempt to be boxers) coner ran out of steam and looked like a baby searching for his father after 1 good explosive round.
Diaz doesnt suck bro, hes just a scrapper. U have to appreciate that style & attitude i guess but he dont suck.
I'm an MMA fan, but a lot of fighters in the UFC are so obsessed with Floyd, it's cringeworthy at this point. Then again, Conor is looking for the biggest checks he can get, so I can't blame him for looking outside the UFC. But all this talk is just unrealistic
lel, at this first page post, 12 rounds with mayweather, 12 rounds. He gassed after about 7 minutes against a guy who they called up on his yatch in mexico to come fill in on 10 days notice.
McGregor is one of the few MMA fighters who could fare well in boxing.
Obviously couldn't beat Mayweather in a boxing match, but saying he coudn't beat a C level boxer is laughable.
He would lose to a journeyman. Its not his fault, its a different sport, hes never BOXED. Hes done MMA stand up his whole life, its different. between stamina and style, he has no chance. Its not just the top pros that would beat him, its the top pro's sparring partners would beat him if its a boxing match.

He was training for a triathlon, plus 7 minutes of MMA is a lot more tiring than 7 minutes of boxing.

Well he was a European champion in boxing, so not really
The Red Sox had the Bambino curse, the Cubs have the Billy Goat curse, UFC A-sides now have to deal with the "talk **** about Mayweather and get beat up" curse.
