No surprise. Donaire was the only top fighter willing to fight Rigondeaux, and still is.

Rigondeaux is the most avoided fighter in boxing today. People can hide behind excuses like him being boring and not being a big draw. But the bottom line is that he is just too good.

Fighters are just gonna wait until he gets old and is more beatable before they fight him.

In the meantime, Rigo will continue to sit on his ass and do nothing, build no momentum, and wonder why people want nothing to do with his worthless ass.

Rigo might be a great fighter, but he's a parasite. Guys like Frampton go out and build themselves into a draw, the least Rigo could do is stay busy and build fan recognition. When he signed with Gary Hyde, Hyde was going to keep him busy in the UK/Ireland, but that wasn't good enough for Rigo. All this time sitting out and b*tching, he could've had a half-dozen fights in the UK and fight with him would've been big money for Frampton instead just all risk.
        **** Rigo.

In the case of a unified champ having 2 mandos with different organisations a compromise will always be found so that he can fight both without relinquishing either of the belts. Providing he beats the mando he fights first, of course.

If McGuigan tries to use the IBF mando as a reason for dropping the WBA belt and avoiding Rigo, that will be a deceitful move and unworthy of the "fighting Irish."

World champions not fighting their mandos seems to be a popular move with many fans at Bscene though, so I guess Frampton will get a lot of support here if he avoids Rigo?

Yeah, Rigo was inactive for too long, but he's fighting Jazza ****ens, in the UK, next, which is exactly what he needed to do to build interest in a match between him and the winner of Frampton/Quigg.

              barry mcguigan is a ****

throwing a belt in the trash to avoid the mandatory challenger is one of the biggest ***** moves in boxing. no one ever forgave bowe for it and i hope no one will give frampton a pass either

the only way frampton can avoid rigo right now without losing my support is to drop both of his belts and move permanently to featherweight

Rigo deserves the fight, Frampton loses a ton of respect. It's insane how ducked Rigo is, nobody wants it. The Donaire fight might be the worst thing that ever happened to him.

Rigo first ducked Loma over 4 measly pounds and his fan boys have excuses...

Now Rigo is ducking Santa Cruz to cherry-pick one of these overhyped Europeans... reminds me of Andre CoWard... CoWard's entire career is based of wins against past-their-prime mind 30+ Europeans whom he fought in his own home country even though they were bigger stars than him...

                  Rigo = glass-jaw cherry-picker

Delusional fan boy. Loma was ready to face Rigo at 126: 4 measly pounds... the same 4 pounds you want Canelo to move up for Triple G...

Santa Cruz called out Rigo right now for a fight... Rigo is hiding scared...

Rigo gets dropped by cab drivers all the time... Santa Cruz is ready to fight..tell Rigo to stop cherry-picking overhyped Europeans and take a real fight..

If Frampton wants to build his profile higher then he should fight Rigondeaux. Should he beat Rigondeaux; which he is capable of, then he should set his sights on Shingo Wake and Nonito Donaire to unify the division and then think about going to featherweight. He might to need to get permission from the IBF to postpone the Shingo Wake fight until the back end of this year or early next year.
