He accepted a catchweight to land the Hoya fight.

Golovkin will not even negotiate with Canelo.

Why would you argue with guys like IMDAZED, if you don't have a clue?

Hopkins signed a few years of his career to get the big fights with a person he didn't like, if GGG was blackballed and self promoted and the same scenario came up i would imagine he would do the same. I mean GGG just like every fighter sacrifices on the way... When GGG was the regular WBA champion and he had a hard time finding an opponents he offered to fight for free (only benefit was 20 ringside tickets and a ring side logo/banner) against barker a few years back. I consider fighting for free as a champion is a sacrifice.

It is not unusual at all, you are completely clueless.

Mayweather did it, Pacquiao did it, Hopkins did it, Cotto did it, Canelo did it.

As did many others, MOST great fighters took risks and made sacrifices.

He completely refused to negotiate with Canelo, spin that how you like.

        What a little wanker !

Kid, how is the level of Hopkins early opponents even relevant ?

Hopkins took risks, and made sacrifices, to land meaningful fights.

        We know this.

Stop trying to re-write history you clown.

And stop trying to compare Golovkin to Hopkins, you silly pacstain.

ok as long as we agree that he has made sacrifices and is willing to make sacrifices.

We agree he has made sacrifices before (like all other boxers). Now to get a big fight, he has to make more. He hasn't thus far.

fair enough. lets see if he does make concessions to make big fights happen. so far he has tried in some cases (floyd at 154 not that the fight was offered but he said he would do it, Froch willing to go to UK at Froches weight).

Also do you consider going up in weight and fighting at a full weight limit of another champion a sacrifice?

Yes, I consider going up a full weight to fight a champion as a sacrifice. And I don't pay attention to lip service. Let me know what he's DONE.

It's tough to get things done when fighters don't want to fight you but we'll have to wait for him to accomplish stuff because i do agree, until the fighters are in the ring... all the talk in the world doesn't prove anything.

And yet, that is all that Golovkin has done.

Your earlier point about Mayweather/Froch, was all talk.

Golovkin may have fought those guys, who knows ?

He promised a lot of things.
