You are welcome to debate me regarding all of the promises that Team Golovkin have made.
It shouldn't take too long.
Right now, I see a big sack labeled "hollow promises", which happens to be full..... and I see a big sack labeled "achievements", which happens to be empty.
This thread has a very similar feel to the other current one...... where Raonic is attempting to bash Mayweather's resume, whilst praising Golovkin's.
And in this thread Golovkin is somehow being compared to Hopkin's.
I will say it again..... lil'G fans, are bashing Mayweather and Hopkin's

You're right, so why not remove Mayweather's name from the discussion?
Especially considering the fact that.....
* that potential match-up is such a massive long-shot
* it is absurd, considering those guys are 2 weight classes apart
* GGG is relatively unknown, so not even a realistic option for Mayweather
Everyone " called out " Floyd man..... everyone !!

Regardless, Froch does not appear as a W on Golovkin's resume.
Golovkin said anyone from 154-168, and we all know that he avoided Ward, so who knows if he would have followed through with Froch if push-came-to-shove.
Maybe, but let's not give him a win for that just yet.
That talk was just promises, promises that have already been broken.

So, in your opinion, Golovkin would DEFINITELY have taken that fight if Froch decided to un-retire?
You COULD be right, but you CANNOT give Golovkin credit for that win.
And if he definitely WOULD have fought Froch, why not Ward ?
And thats up with that fkn 164lb catchweight shht ?
Not convinced at all that Golovkin would have fought Froch, maybe.
And giving Golovkin credit for being willing to fight Froch is weak..... especially considering the fact that you Golovkin fans did not exactly shower Ward with praise for being more then willing to fight lil'G.
Golovkin SAID that he would fight Froch, but the fight never happened, for WHATEVER reason, so it is a moot point..... it was ONLY talk, because it never happened.

NEW YORK If you're holding out hope Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin will fight later this year, you're not going to be encouraged by what Alvarez said Tuesday after a press conference to promote his May 7 pay-per-view fight against Amir Khan.

When Canelo decides to move to 160, and he becomes a real middleweight, we will see if Golovkin is just as willing to fight him then.
He talks a good game Golovkin.
