We'll see how it pans out, at 158 I doubt most people will complain. Although even then Cotto wasn't Pacquiao's mandatory neither and obviously Pacquiao was and likely still is a 140lb'er.

I don't think it was ok or it is ok to ask for a catchweight when a title is involve. And then to be forced (WBO threaten to strip Cotto) to defend that title at the catchweight... Let's see if the WBC forces GGG to do something he doesn't want to do.

Regardless, most people have shown to be ok with 158. it's more "I'm shrinking the supposed bigger man for a more even playing field" rather than "I'm straight up draining this guy so he shows up a zombie". Obviously Canelo weighs as much or usually more than Golovkin on fight night though.

So who were these first 35 opponents and what sacrifices did he make at that point?

What do the first 35 opponents have to do with what I said? I said he sacrificed to get the big fight (Tito) which he did.

GGG need to go to 168 NOT 158 like you said. Yes, normally a division is good or GREAT BUT the MW is RULED by GGG and Cotto/Saul. Saunders FKN SUKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yet GTARDS thinks he some HOFamer???
Yes I would like to see GGG fight at 168 at some stage. Many good fights there and that could really cement his legacy. 160 is not what it used to be right now for sure.

So you really don't know. Thats all you had to say. Next time just say you have a double standard for non black fighters.

LOL did you understand what I wrote? I said he had to make sacrifices to get a big fight. Do you agree or no?

The WBC has already made it clear that Canelo can do whatever he wants. To them, it's up to the two fighters to negotiate the fight anywhere between 155 and 160. If Golovkin doesn't agree to drain down, oh well; Canelo walks away keeping his WBC belt.
