Take your time..... and I would prefer a one-syllable answer.

Hopkins was willing to make the necessary sacrifices to become a big name. The kind of sacrifices GGG would never make.

Those 2 situations are not exactly the same, but they are very similar..... and yet, you feel the opposite way about each of them?

          Bizarre.

It would almost seem..... that you could be exhibiting bias ?
Well it only suits them when it involves their favourites. When the foot is on the other side they all of a sudden become "Boxing fans" who stand for the rules.

Well GGG was willing to drop a full division to face the reigning, undefeated, unified, lineal, 2x SWW champ at his weight and turf. Not even Hop has made that sacrifice.

I have a feeling that whoever uses the word "marinate" in a positive or neutral context is an enemy of boxing. It is that simple... He wants certain fighters to be protected from the challenges. He invents pseudo-challenges that dangerous opponents should undergo in order to protect his darling (like for instance, GGG should go up in weight - to SMW to prove that he is worthy of MW title, while Canelo defends his MW title at 155 against welterweights). Disgusting!

Pacquiao-Cotto thing will only be true if the fight ends up at 158. Idiots on here though are ok with Canelo asking for 155 though apparently and actually expect it to happen there.

We'll see how it pans out, at 158 I doubt most people will complain. Although even then Cotto wasn't Pacquiao's mandatory neither and obviously Pacquiao was and likely still is a 140lb'er.
