Yes, I forgot about Canelo giving concessions for Cotto; that's coupled with the Mayweather fight.

That's at least twice where Canelo has given into the demands of his opponent.

Outside of Gabe Rosado, how many times has GGG given concessions for a major fight and went ahead and fought that major fight?

      Pretty much.

And, I don't have a problem with it.

It is clearly obvious what Team Golovkin will have to do in order to land that fight..... and if it takes them 3 years to figure it out, then so be it, that's on them.

Golovkin can have that fight whenever he wants to back up his shht-talk.

It didn't Canelo 3 years to figure out what he had to do to make a Mayweather fight...... it didn't take Hopkins 3 years to figure out what he needed to do to make a Hoya fight.

Team Golovkin have made NO EFFORT WHATSOEVER to make that fight, and they have also made LITTLE/NO EFFORT WHATSOEVER to raise Gennady's profile to match Canelo's.

Golovkin is the Amir Khan of 160. He calls everyone out, but he makes no effort whatsoever to actually earn that fight.

He already has a name and reputation. You are one of those who believe he still has to prove something, while we have former champions like Martinez saying he's off the charts.

          EXACTLY !!

They have done NOTHING, other than completely refuse to negotiate.

Way to go " Team Nothing "

He said nothing of the sort.

Martinez stated that Golovkin is ahead of Canelo at middleweight..... which is a fkn no-brainer considering that Canelo is not a middleweight, and has never fought a middleweight opponent.

Team Hypekin have done NOTHING, oth inside the ring, or outside the ring..... other than totally refuse to negotiate with Canelo LMAO

WBC said three times today on Twitter that GGG can weigh 160

They said they will follow there rules, Canelo refuses to fight, he's stripped of title. Plain and simple.

Canelo will struggle to make 155 this fight. He says he can make 154.

His fan are fools if they believe him.

Martinez DID SAY Golovkin was off the charts. He did it a few months ago in other interview which is not the same you are refering to that is more recent.

If you don't like my thread you have the original interview here http://diario.mx/Deportes/2015-11-26...nelo_golovkin/

So yeah, you can call Golovkin "hypeking" or whatever you want, but the former MW champion former top3 P4P said that Golovkin is off the charts and that he believes for that reason that the fight is unlikely to happen.

But you are so retarted that you will call me a liar again.

Hes always had a problem fighting true boxers. Hence non-casual fans wanted to see him fight Lara instead of Willie Nelson Monroe.

                    GGG = Khan 2.0

Just take a look outside the fandom box for a moment and realize that there's a reason why Golovkin's "reputation", his elephant in the room, is mediocre opponents. This isn't a matter of blaming him at this point, it is what it is. Not many people even criticize his abilities, it's his opposition that the majority of the boxing world questions. If you're going to pretend that it's not relevant and that facing a named opponent wouldn't subsequently boost the Canelo fight then you're too caught up in being a fan and it's pointless for me to try to reason with you.

I'd love to see them fight in Sept but I can see how getting GGG to put a name on his resume would make this fight even more delicious and I'd be willing to wait til next year if that were the case.
