Comments Thread For: Browne Hopes To Have Tszyu's Support, Vows KO of Chagaev

Boxing legend Kostya Tszyu is jetting into Grozny, Chechnya for Saturday's big Chageav v Browne WBA title fight.

With multiple world titles to his name, Tszyu is regarded as one of the greats of his age and he will certainly be serving as an inspiration to Browne as he attempts to write his own name into the history books.

This isn't a world title fight. It's a WBA ripping off sanctioning fees for 2 high ranked guys. Chagaev is #1, Ortiz is #2 & Browne #3... Chagaev TKO3

        Pulling for Lucas Browne win.

Havent seen a Ruslan fight in years so no idea what he has left.

Browne win would give Parker a decent option outside the IBF for sure.

It would be better for the heavyweight division if Browne wins. Not sure if he can, though.

Chagaev is regular champion and Ortiz is an interim champion, Chagaev's title is more recognised than Ortiz's. F*** it it's the WBA lol.

Both are terrible and wouldn't be able to do anything with the top 5-10 of the division.

Browne would be a new face to throw into the mix and if he could beat Chagaev then that means he has a little something to bring to the table.

                But like I said I don't think he'll win.

Browne isn't much good so I guess Chagaev wins, despite being years past his best and having more blood infections than Charlie Sheen. I read elsewhere that the winner of this has to face Fres Oquendo, which makes it seem even more pointless.

I don't recognize regular & interim champions... the interim champ use to be when the champion had a long term injury & when he recovered would be granted the first shot. If he could not fight anymore the interim champion would become it's true champion. The WBA interim champion is not the same. It is just the #2 ranked guy & the regular champ is the #1 ranked contender...sanctioning fee scam & nothing more...
