    Notable names on Froch's resume:

Pascal - decent opponent, nothing more

Taylor - Already washed up way before he fought Froch

    Dirrell - Beat Froch

Kessler - Calzaghe beat him when Kessler was in his prime and Joe was getting old. Kessler still won the first fight against Froch convincingly but had faded prior to the second fight.

Abraham - The few times he fought outside of Germany he got found out.

    Glen Johnson - Ancient

    Ward - Schooled Froch

    Bute, Mack, Groves lol.

Even Calzaghe (who is a joke himself would have schooled Froch). I have no doubt Canelo would be able to comfortably out-box Froch despite Froch's size advantage.
Froch has the best resume of any boxer from the past 5 years at least.

Pascal - Tough as old boots, Froch beat a prime version, he became a world champion after Froch took his undefeated record. It was also a FOTY candidate

Taylor - Not really washed up, probably not in his complete prime but at the time was still an excellent fighter. Froch knocked him out in his backyard.

Dirrell - Close fight, could've gone either way. Ran like a b1tch from Froch all night.

Kessler - The first fight was close, could've gone either way, and again Froch went to his backyard. The second time, Froch clearly beat him and avenged his loss. Kessler was a fine fighter, and certainly one of the best in his division.

Abraham - The #1 SMW right now.

Johnson - Tough as old boots

Ward - Clear decision to Andre, but Froch didn't disgrace himself, came on strong in the second half of the fight, if it was a 15 rounder, Froch would've knocked him out. Froch's preparation was also interrupted by the ash cloud. Ward ducked a rematch.

Bute - Regarded as a killer when Froch fought him, many people had him as the #1 in the division and was ranked p4p. Ward didn't want anything to do with him, nor did anyone else.

Groves - Tough up and coming fighter, regarded as one of the top talents in the sport. Was never the same after Froch Cobra'd him.

Froch was a warrior, he went to undefeated fighters backyards and beat them, and didn't try and drain all his opponents and make up a new weight class for himself.

1.) Lol Pacquaio and Mayweather have a much resume in the last 5 years.

2.) The Dirrell fight wasnt close and Kessler was the clear winner in the first fight. faded in the second but still wobbled Froch in round 11.

3.) Abraham and Bute are a joke and Johnson despite being tough was well passed his best.

4.) Ward schooled Froch, it could have been a 20 round fight and the decision would be the same. At no point did Froch hurt Ward. Lol why would Ward Duck a fighter he already schooled? that's nonsense.

5.) Groves was never regarded as one of the upcoming talents of the sport. Maybe the British media hyped him as such but there was obvious weaknesses to him.

6.) One thing I will give Froch is that he was a warrior with a great chin. But put him against GGG and he crumbles like the rest.

We've had this convo before. Not liking him doesn't change what he's accomplished. I used to be a doubter too, but he just kept on winning. He by far had the toughest schedule in back to back fights than anyone in recent times, and won more than most.

        STOP THE HATE!!!!!!

            question

How would Alvarez (who is slow) do against Carl Froch if he himself went up the same 2 weight divisions.

Do you see him doing well in a toe-to-toe war against Froch?

Bare in mind, Alvarez walks around heavier than Froch too so it's quite a fair fight really
maidana or Brandon rios should be fighting froch too...

              This.

People trying to bring down the resume of Carl Froch is simply hilarious.

Canelo doesn't have footwork to beat Froch. Without it, he'd be forced to trade punches with Cobra. Bad idea.

Froch is 6' 1" / 185cm in height and his reach is of 75"/ 191cm. He was big enough for 175...
