if you want to fight a meaningless who's better than who fight where no titles are on the line catchweights make much more sense

there's a huge difference in the two scenarios. the reason for the catchweight isn't what's being disputed. it's the situation in which the guy is asking for a catchweight that's the issue. catchweights have no business in mandatory title fights and if GGG simply wants to unify MW while making Canelo look like a ***** that's well within his right. if he wants a nice pay day he will negotiate a weight to meet Canelo at.

It's OK to weaken a fighter if there is no title but not if there is a title (that boxing fans only value if it suits them)? I disagree, it's a ***** move title or not, the intention is to weaken a fighter just the same.
