Fury negated Wlad's agggression and made it ineffective with brilliant defensive boxing. But I guess because he wasn't running around the ring, then grabbing and holding every time Wlad caught up with him, you didn't realise what was happening or what you were watching.
It's sad that so many misunderstand or choose to misunderstand why the Wlad fight went the way it did. It's symptomatic of a general lack of sophistication in the modern boxing fan that they can only seem to process a fight on the very simplest level. Fury is a master of mind games and he pulled off one of the all time great performances in that regard when he Wlad got out thought and out fought by Fury and had no idea how to cope with the situation. To me that's just as exciting as watching Wilder smash through a guy with raw aggression. Not as instantly gratifying but far more intellectually rewarding.

I won't be one of those fanboys that discredit his victory if he beats Povetkin though that's for sure. Wilder is the real deal if he beats Povetkin and It will make the fight with Fury the biggest HW fight in years. May the best man win and I hope it's Wilder. Boxing needs an American HW to make it big again. I hope the Russia vs America element to this makes it huge!

I love watching Wilder fight because what you see is exactly what you get. He's a crazy, wild punching knockout machine. When he's struggling in a fight it's not because he's trying to lure his opponent in to land a sneaky counter, it's because he doesn't know what the fuck to do. Fury's completely the opposite. There are so many layers to his game and you never know entirely what his tactics are until after the fight; even then you need to rewatch and pay attention.

I can't wait for this fight. The unstoppable force meets the ever thinking object.

Bum squad has KO'd a long string of journeymen, but never anybody even close to Fury's level.
Yea getting dropped by a cruiserweight isnt suspect at all for a heavyweight lol.

Fury has never even fought a cruiserweight, let alone been dropped by one.

Did Floyd get taken the distance be a flyweight in his 48th fight?

Fury got decked by Steve Cunnungham, who was a HW, then he got up and knocked Steve down and out.

Wilder has been KO'd by a cruiserweight, btw.

"Reaching" is ****ing on and on and on about a flash knockdown that happened 3 years ago in a fight that Fury won as evidence of his supposed suspect chin.

Fury has been fighting in boxing's dreadnought division since he was 17 years old and has NEVER been KO'd or stopped in his entire career. Never. not once.

If you are determined to find something to crap on him for, at least pick something that makes a modicum of sense.

And btw, the cruiserweight limit is 200lbs, not 210.

You don't believe that. Because if you did you wouldn't be hating on him so hard. You know the end is near that's why you hate Wilder so much. So get your jokes in now because you know in your heart Fury can't compete. If you weren't worried you'd be more subtle with your critique of Wilder, because you'd know in your heart your man was the best.

One reason Wilder is going to take this is he is fighting for family!
