Wilder confirms via twitter he is not vacating his title

After all the talk of Wilder vacating his title he has finally spoken out on Twitter to confirm this was never the case. The following links to those tweets are below:

"If you think I'm giving up my title you're crazy... Y'all forget that I didn't win this title for me..."

"I promised my daughter I would be a champ. This belt belongs to her so I'll fight whoever and wherever to make sure it stays with her"

I'm glad he has confirmed this and we now know this fight is a definite with just the date and venue to be confirmed. I think this is Wilders first big test and, if he comes through that test, there won't be any debate whether he is a legitimate champ. I'm hoping for a Wilder victory so the fight with Fury can be made later this year as that's surely a fight to bring HW boxing back with a ****!

Wilder doesn't write his own tweets. it's his social media manager.

You can tell because Wilder can't read or write.

FYI.. To embed a tweet, just click the three little dots next to the like (heart) icon which is at the bottom of each tweet. Then choose "Embed Tweet". Copy the code from the new box that appears and paste it here.

And that's it, good to go.

Yeah, Wilder tells his media man what he wants to say, and media man writes his tweets for him.

This was the actual message, in Deontay's own words:

"Ya'll can say whatever. Ima just be like ... To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man"

Wilder still struggles with light switches, let alone smartphones.

Well there goes a lot of people's dreams it seems on this site. Don't know how many posts i've seen of those just hoping he drops that title.

Now Wilder can bring his behind to Russia so Povetkin can take that title from his daughter

                    Good news.

Wilder vs Povetkin is the best fight in the division bar the Wlad vs Fury fight (in terms of quality).

If its in Russia then itll be on at a time I can watch too
