i've seen him a couple of times in telefutura and shobox, this guy has mad skills and is very mature for his age. i think he's even better than mares.

you gotta stop hating on boom boom though. he showed tremendous heart in that fight with espinosa and still won convincingly. i'm sure roach can make a lot of improvements on him. for now, it's just wishful thinking that mares and bautista will meet up at featherweight in a couple of years.

Yeah, i know hes another good prospect and is undefeated, his loss was a DQ, but he clearly won. We got plenty of more, i just liked Escobedo for some reason. Im sure he can still shine... Im not hating on bum bum, i just think hes overrated or just has a weak chin and 100% Abner Mares can beat him if they ever face.


Losses... even the best fighters have losses, so its all good.

Dude, you must've mistaken me for someone else. I never said Escobedo was overrated nor did I make the statement about Torrecampo knocking out Manny. If I offended you, my bad. I still think Escobedo will mature and possibly be a force to be reckoned with in his division. Fights like this can ruin a young prospect though. Hopefully it was not a blow to his confidence or career.
