Not really. Ronda Rousey was deemed unbeatable. Then Holm a life long boxer trained and beat her in less than 10 mma fights after switching from boxing.

Only casuals deemed her 'unbeatable'.

Everyone who follows the sport was very aware of her woeful boxing technique. She was a one trick pony that was dominating a female division full of bums.
