He began boxing, but quickly learned that he preferred MMA. His boxing is very solid, but his movement and body control are excellent. He's also beat the best wrestler in his initial division.

He's gone ahead and jumped from 145 to 170 for this fight: in boxing terms that's going from welterweight to light heavyweight.
How many weight classes is that in UFC terms?

      UFC is hilarious to watch

The turn over rate of their "stars" is ridiculously fast.

Won't be long before Connor gets beat. The sport is still so unrefined. Which is kind of expected when you need to be a master of multiple skills.

Rousey is a good example. Supposedly a monster but got totally decimated..literally a no contest. Silva was very good and still regarded the best of all time in their sport but was ****y and got his glass jaw shattered from acting a fool.

These mma guys have no idea how to box. And it not like McGregor outwrestled Mendes. Did you see Aldor jumping in chin first? These mma guys have glass chins. a "solid" boxer beat their p4p best fighter.

          2 divisions in UFC.

Was supposed to be 155; but RDA pulled out of the fight and McGregor went up another division to secure a big fight.

A lot of them don't. Guys like McGregor can box, well.

Of course legit boxers would beat MMA fighters in boxing, but at the same time, top MMA guys would beat boxers in an MMA fight...it's a pointless discussion.

                Think it's 145, 155, 170, 190, 205 and 265.

It works pretty well in terms of having top guys fight one another, there's no in between weights to prevent big fights.

How is Pbc circling the drain when it's expanding to Europe? Just because you want something to be true doesn't make it so.

Not really. Ronda Rousey was deemed unbeatable. Then Holm a life long boxer trained and beat her in less than 10 mma fights after switching from boxing.
