Comments Thread For: Arum: Lomachenko-Walters Verbally Agreed Upon

Promoter Bob Arum has confirmed to Boxingscene.com that a clash between WBO featherweight titlist, Vasyl Lomachenko and former WBA featherweight belt-holder, Nicholas Walters has been agreed upon by both parties.

"The details will come next week but the date we're looking at is April 30th," Arum said on Friday morning.

Great fight! Only question is at 126 or 130? Loma seems to make 126 pretty easy but prolly knows the bigger fights for him are at 130.

Good , good fight ... If it really happens . Walters beats Loma , salido has the blue print .

Now let's get some ink on some paper so it can't result in changed minds.

Salido does have the blueprint-- Come in at 147 fight night and sneak some low blows in whenever you can. Loma will school walters. Won't be even close

From Arum's words I get the impression that he cares more about Lomachenko's popularity than Walters', hopefully this doesn't lead to forcing Walters to come down to 126.
