The fact of the matter is Keith "Runtime" Thurman is in it, not to fight the best, but to get the easiest paydays. He has yet to fight an undefeated fighter, with the exception of Chaves. It's become clearer and clearer that Thurman is not ready for Porter or that Thurman is being sheltered....or BOTH

I think the contract they sign says they can't fight anyone in between the fights without consent from the other side or something close to that.

This is unprofessional behaviour on the part of Thurman's management and Thurman himself. The accident was what ... 3 days ago now? You take xrays 1st day to know about bone damage. Traumatology department can also advise on ligament or tendon damage. Bruising and stiffness is apparent the next day. I guess lack of balls might not get checked up on so that could be an issue.

Thurman's camp should have a medical report by now and it should be available to AH and to the promoters and Porter's camp.

Undefeated fighters on Thurman's record: 5

Undefeated fighters on Porter's record: 3

Let's also not forget that it was the Porter's that ducked Thurman about 2 years ago claiming there wasn't enough money on the table for that kind of risk:

Slow Ticket Sales Fake Injury Hurts Short Port not Thur

Okay slow ticket sales and little fan interest results in a fake Thurman injury and the fight being delayed. This hurts Short Port and actually helps big mouth little mini man/kid horse tail hair Thurman. No big deal and no one is upset fan wise. When Haymon and Dibella are involved anything goes with those two slimy ones. Boxing is about money nothing else.
