Imagine Ryabinsky goes as high as $15M. 80% would equal $12M for Wilder. That's retirement money.

Personally, I don't see anything crazy at the bid. $23M for Klitscho-Povetkin was a ludicrous purse bid and Ryabinsky lost millions in that fight.

I'm going to predict a conservative number for this fight. I think the winning bid will be less than $5M.
I don't see a crazy bid like for the Klitschko vs Povetkin fight. I think Ryabinsky is a smart cat & realizes that was far too much for that fight. I do think the bid will exceed $5M doe.

I think the combined purses of Wilder's last few fights has been around $1.5M-$2M for low level opponents (not sure what Povetkin has been getting lately) so I think the jump up is gonna be bigger than just to $5M. I think a low winning bid is gonna be $8M-ish at least. These are two top HW's with KO power & 1 loss (to a decade long champ) between them in a US vs Russia fight. I tend to foresee double digits happening.

Yeah, if the bids are high enough Wilder's split of the purse should guarantee that he never needs money for the rest of his life.

Assuming he takes care of it and doesn't squander it ******ly, of course.
