HBO set TR up with the Tru-Tv deal where TR was getting six-figures a show and as usual, TR did nothing with it. I'm on Nelson's side if Bob's peddling trash-fights. Crawford/Lundy sucks. There was no reason for such a poor year for Crawford & Lomachenko last year, Pacquiao's out the door and TR has lost their leverage with the network.

If Bob wants to take his business to Showtime, that's awesome, he can make some great fights with Lomo/Santa Cruz, Crawford/Broner, Rameriz/Chavez, and Bradley/Garcia. Too bad he has a $100 mill lawsuit against Al though and Showtime's ran by Al's patsy -Espinoza.

Whether HBO is at fault for something or not, Arum needs to stop all the in-house fights.

uh oh, will Top Rank go bankrupt? They already had to scrap their fights on TruTV. All of PBC's issues get exaggerated, but they seem to have a brighter future.

They've put quite a bit of money away over the years, and there overhead is no where near what the PBCs are (Top Rank don't do time buys, at least not yet) so I doubt they're going bankrupt anytime soon. But we will see.

I doubt Top Rank would actually start working with Showtime, but opening up other fighters to Showtime wouldn't be such a bad thing.

Yeah I know Top Rank shouldn't be in any real trouble, but I do find the two treatments funny. I hope Showtime accepts Arum on. I want to see the Lomachenko/Walters and Postol double header

I want that double header as well. I'd bet it ends up on HBO and this all blows over, and everyone will just chuck it up to Arum being Arum. But we'll see.

The Boxing media covered it up. I was on a boxing podcast earlier in the week and I broke the news it was canceled because no one had.

Did BoxingScene report on it or no?

Steve Kim seems to be quick to write Top Rank related articles. Has he mentioned anything about the tru tv deal yet?
