If he were to fight Brook now and lose, Canelo's off the table and everything else is off the table really.

So I think fighting Canelo was a much better idea. Like I said if he loses to Canelo Brook is still there. He'll make more losing to Canelo and then fighting Brook than he would just fighting Brook.

Obviously If he fights Brooks now and beats Brook then he'd make more money but I don't think Khan wants to take that risk. Especially considering Canelo may not be on the table this time next year.
See I just don't see the Brook fight happening after he loses this one, most likely by vicious KO. If it did happen public interest would have dropped massively

Not even sure that would be a PPV fight in that scenario tbh. Not unless Khan has time for another rebuild period. This is also relying on Brook not losing, he will surely have to fight some top WW's now Khan is off the table, and I dont have him a clear favourite over the likes of Thurman, Garcia, Porter, Bradley or any of those types. No guarantee he stays undefeated

      Yeah that's a good point.

Me as a fan would much rather see Khan vs Brook and you're right we've seen enough times now that striking while the iron is hot is the best idea.

It really depends how Khan looks, if he does well then it can still happen. If he gets starched in 3 rounds then maybe not.

I think it will be PPV regardless though. No matter what happens the British public will pay to see Khan Brook especially with the and blood. Even if both get knocked out this year.
