LOL at Dragging Mayweather into this when it is mostly GGG fans who are bashing Canelo for this fight with Khan and RIGHTFULLY SO!
Why are Floyd fans so butt hurt?

A better question is what kind of person would be a fan of a degenerate woman beater? There's no point in trying to reason with that kind of person.Comment

Ah, but the lack of respect from folks such as myself is what burns under your skin. It's what prompted you to create this thread and nurture it like a junkie child; you know nothing you do will help but you feel you must at least try. The fact that you project your frustration on others by taking your symptoms (butthurt, anger, the need to keep coming back to the thread) and accusing others of suffering them is amusing to me. Amusing enough to keep getting you wound up. You're not here for amusement though, it's just insecurity as a fan. I'll just let you be now so go ahead with the last word.
aaaand he does it once again
I absolute cringe at the helplessness being experienced by the TMT crowd who acted like some sort of an authority as to who deserves what steps Khan must take to get Mayweather and who always felt it was hilarious Khan was left hanging by their idol.
Floyd fans aren't the only ones sh.itting on this fight, yet I only picked you lot, cuz I know the insecurity is running deep. The slim possibility if Khan pulls this off gives you people night mares. So you mirroring my accusations of butt hurt, anger and projection have no leg to stand on.
Your post has damage control written all over it. Initially I was just a parrot repeating what everyone was saying. Yet you keep coming back. What is it now? 3 posts in this thread?Last edited by Box-Office; 02-24-2016, 01:48 AM.Comment

I am an admitted fan of both Brook and Mayweather and not Khan despite his amazing speed(which is something I love) he is just to straight up and robotic for me but regardless I really don't think anyone is mad at Khan for fighting Canelo...Actually there was like 10 threads the day the fight was announced talking about how good this was for boxing and how Khan was making everyone look like a *****... And he did..Khan deserves credit for fighting Canelo..
But..are we gonna ignore that Khan has only wanted to fight Manny and Floyd over the last few years obviously for a payday? Are we gonna ignore that he was Garcia's mandatory and could have fought Brook whenever he wants..that's two WW titles with a chance to unify all the belts in the near future. Forget money and who he likes and all that bull****...He had the chance to plot a path to being undisputed WW champ.
Does that take away fromt he risk of fighting Canelo? No, but it makes you question the reasoning why he's doing it...Does he want to be MW champion and beat GGG and BJS to unify the division, or does he want a 8 figure payday?
Anyway, Amir Khan has been one of the most privileged fighters in boxing history, I don't think anyone should feel bad for him.Comment

That would be a valid reason to be pissed off at Canelo not at Khan, Khan was deserving of having a big fight at 147 but both Floyd and Pacquiao turned him down.Comment

Khan doesn't deserve a shot at the Middleweight title.
But, Khan's money, as is Canelo.
So if the offer was there I can't blame either for taking the fight. The game is, was, always has been motivated by money.
From Khan's standpoint taking Thai fight was an absolute no brainer. It's Canelo who's got everything to lose. Khan has nothing to lose. Other than his health

I'm not sure about that. Brook was a much more winnable and would have brought him a heck of a lot of money.Khan doesn't deserve a shot at the Middleweight title.

Cotto got $10 mill for fighting Canelo or something IIRC... Khan isnt getting as much Cotto surely? He could have got around that amount fighting Brook. £6mill at least was looking likely for Khan to fight Brook.Comment

But if Khan loses to Canelo, Brook's still on the table. Less of the pie that he'd get now but still a big piece, say about 5 or so million.I'm not sure about that. Brook was a much more winnable and would have brought him a heck of a lot of money.

If he somehow beats Canelo he's get a huge chunk.
If he were to fight Brook now and lose, Canelo's off the table and everything else is off the table really.
So I think fighting Canelo was a much better idea. Like I said if he loses to Canelo Brook is still there. He'll make more losing to Canelo and then fighting Brook than he would just fighting Brook.
Obviously If he fights Brooks now and beats Brook then he'd make more money but I don't think Khan wants to take that risk. Especially considering Canelo may not be on the table this time next year.Comment
