I eat me some rabbit and pigeons too.

Rabbits and pigeons are common game-food.

About as common as you can get.....

But hedgehogs and bullfrogs ?

One does not eat snails cold. Escargo is really good. Actually many of the snails used are from the Bordoeux region, same as the wine. They are bred in clean water, so none of that swampy taste... if you have not tried escargo the best thing to do is go to a grocery and get some parsley, butter and garlic, chop and mash...you can buy snails in a can, rinse wash, and put on a dish covered with the butter mixture and let sizzle in the broiler for about five minutes...yummy!

of course you can order in a restaurant as well. But its a unique taste, very good, and snails are basically insects with flesh!

I prefer a steak.

But if there was no steak, or any other kind of meat.....
