if they cannot get a deal done and the purse bid is won and the fight is sent to russia/germany...i'd agree with that decision after the recent disgrace we just saw and how the russian drug testing seems to screw the pooch, point blame, or ignore injustices for the opposing fighter..but i really do hope wilderpovetkin lands in the US so i can see the fight..Comment

that had to be his handlers first thought...LIKE NO...TAKE THAT BACK RIGHT NOW LOL..I'LL BE HONEST if i'm povetkin i'd want to fight in front of my hometown or easily win the belt by way of wilder vacting due to not wanting to travel. povetkin would take blowback if he's setting roadblocks, but it would very mediocre if not less than mediocre..the belt would only give him more power in negotiations and he's already a good draw...so if i'm him screw wilder..and i think that is wat is happening lolTo be honest I don't really mind wilder but he really does need to step his game up now....none of know what has really happened regarding the negotiations and it's all just hear say.....if povetkin is creating roadblocks in the fight then it's not very sportsman like but on the other foot I've not read any report from wilders side saying that povetkins team are not playing ball in terms of making the fight and really if it's the case as what you say then wilder surely should have said something in the media but he's said nothing .....which tells me two things 1 wilder really don't want to face povetkin or secondly the money side there's not that much in the wilder pot for it to be successful...maybe haymon really is struggling for cash now...i really don't know what to make of it but wilder shouldn't have told battle secrets to his enemy agreed ? :-)...I really don't know whats in wilders head fellaComment

Tyson Fury went to Germany and won a fair decision. Wilder needs to grow a pair.if they cannot get a deal done and the purse bid is won and the fight is sent to russia/germany...i'd agree with that decision after the recent disgrace we just saw and how the russian drug testing seems to screw the pooch, point blame, or ignore injustices for the opposing fighter..but i really do hope wilderpovetkin lands in the US so i can see the fight..Comment

Wilder has never done random Olympic style testing since he turned pro.
There are no drug tests for Wilder's fights except the routine post-fight urine sample that never catches anyone.Comment

LOL why WOULDN'T this fight head to purse bid. If Ryabinsky really is old Mr. Moneybags, Wilder will probably get 75% of north of $20mm for the fight..Comment

Purse bids are only fair when Haymon has more money than the other promoter.well my premise is this...if he goes to a big he only gets 30%...i feel quite sure that al did not offer him under 30%...and also wilder has never blasted his negotiations everywhere...i think the stiverne fight went to a bid and we didnt hear why...i have no excuse for wilder, but he hsould have never said "i wont go to russia"...now all they have to do is not deal and win the bid to take his title...i'm sure povetkin has no problem with that bc in this ordeal he wont be criticized unless u pull back the curtain and see wat happened and bc he is the media darling in this situation..the us media is just like you..they are not fond on wilder bc he's done nothing good enough for them...but at the same time that doesnt give povetkin the right to not take fair deals...we'll see wat happens..
maybe im right maybe im wrong..but with a week to go povektin said "we wont reach an agreementl, we will be bidding" doesnt even sound like a team that is trying to me...
Nobody has the right to turn down a fair offer except Al Haymon and Adonis Superduck Stevenson.Comment

Because Wilder is Al Haymon's b1tch and does what he's told.
Don't forget that it was Haymon who told Qullin to vacate and turn down a career high $1.4 million payday instead of fighting Korobov.Comment
