How far exactly was Tyson from his prime when he fought Lewis in 2002?

Look at his early fights, when he was focused. He moved well, and avoided many punches. He was able to get inside on taller fighters and deliver devastatingly accurate, powerful punches. Your dismissal of his being incarcerated for over 4 years and his admitted drug abuse and failure to train having a profoundly negative effect on his ability to perform- Now that's rubbish.

The bottom line is when he faced a world class heavyweight he lost...end of subject...Michael spinks was tiny.....Larry Holmes was old...tony tubbs was fat and pinklon Thomas was a ex junkie..those are the facts.....he avoided Lewis and paid step aside....he went like if or death with razor ruddock ..who Lewis destroyed in 2 rounds....knocking over weak heavyweights is not knocking over Lennox Lewis ....his resume will always how when he came up against a really decent heavyweight he lost .....it's not what might have happened it's what happened so get over it silly boy

Getting the better inside of a Carl Williams or Jose ribalto is not the same as a Lennox Lewis......your photo alone says your a fanboy...I like Tyson but he was limited and would never have beaten Lennox Lewis

Two names: Oliver McCall. Former Tyson sparring partner. Before he lost his mind, he destroyed a prime Lewis in 2 rounds. Mike was in jail on that trumped up **** charge. Tyson had 4 years experience as a pro over Lewis and was destroying everyone in sight before Douglas. Lewis had not yet teamed up with Emmanuel Steward and didn't protect his suspect chin in those days. Prime Tyson would have destroyed prime Lewis, at least as badly as McCall did.

Douglas was the only one to defeat Tyson while he was in his prime years, & even then, an undertrained, on anti-depressants and God knows what Mike dropped him. Any HW can be rocked, and Lewis got rocked plenty of times. You act like Tyson would have been defeated by Holyfield, Lewis or Danny Williams(!) while in his prime. I offer that while Holyfield may have still beaten him, a young Lewis couldn't hang with a young Tyson & Williams wouldn't have even gotten in the ring with him. You say that you like Mike, but you won't admit that for a minute, he was a bad motherfucker.

There really was no prime Tyson. He had great technique when he was with Rooney but he had not yet physically entered his prime. When he entered what should have been his physical prime his technique had so deteriorated he wasn't even close to the fighter he had been.

Don King had an interest in making sure that his fighters worked with **** trainers.

that sums you trying to compare Lewis to Williams lol.....Tucker rocked Tyson, ruddock took him all the way. Mitch green, bonecrusher, tillis....the we have Lewis who Tyson ducked and paid him 4 million in 1996 to avoid him.....Lewis beat holyfied, he beat Tucker and dropped him twice. He smashed ruddock in 2 .....u need some knowledge in your brain....Lewis beat every fighter he ever faced, Lewis beat ruddock, mercer,Tucker, tua,Holyfield, klitchcko,Morr ison ,Tyson, golota and every other heavyweight that mattered...his record far surpasses Tyson because Tyson lost to any fighter who could give it back...Tyson did not win even one round against Lewis....he bullied him like he was a child ....He played with him and that's the way it is...Tyson was even younger than Lewis lol...go search it when Tyson sparred Lewis when Cus was alive at the Catskills .....not what if or maybe ....Lewis handled him with ease

You brought Williams up. Tucker took Lewis the distance too. You're like a woman, just arguing for the sake of arguing. Pull your panties out of your snatch.
