-Froch (L, Golovkin doesn't one-punch guys at even 160, granite jaw and long)
-Dirrell (?, Dirrell is a physical nightmare for Golovkin, while also being a full-on 168lber; does the chin hold up?)
-Abraham (?, Golovkin sees a mirror of himself, with Abraham having the punch)

GGG's already done well against Dirrell in the ams with headgear where his power wasn't as much of a factor. Wasn't much of a nightmare for GGG back then. What's changed?

And, except for the heavy hands, Abraham and GGG are NOTHING alike.

Thats a fair point. I think the difference is in the calculus of "styles make fights", Froch is a better pressure fighter. Kessler imo, like
Froch is on the same basic level... kessler is a text book combo puncher with good power and decent skills in that stand up kind of way. but kessler has one gear. Froch is not textbook, his punches are not as clean, but he can up his gear quickly, on the spur of the moment, and apply pressure in ways Kessler doesn't.

Under these circumstances and given the fact that Golovkin is such a strong puncher, I don't think Kessler can match GGG, Froch's pressure could cause Golovkin to make mistakes...thats my thinking. However with that said, GGG beats both men imo and loses to Ward.

I can't believe people think Dirrell would beat him. That's a definite win for Gennady if ever I saw one.

Dirrell settled into being a filled-in super middleweight, while Golvokin, in his 30's, seems to have maxed out at being a so-so sized middleweight.

It's not like Golovkin ever blew Dirrell out in the amateurs, either. Bigger, longer man; not that complicated, imo.

Abraham and Golovkin seem to be about the same size, both guys are said to have power in their fists (though Abraham has shown himself able to one-punch guys at 160, and 168 on occasion), and both guys are susceptible to getting hit.

Would he even get past Miranda and Green? Doubt it, wouldn't even get past the 1st set of matches.

Kessler, Abraham, JT, Dirrell, Froch, SOG, damn you can just imagine what they'd do to him.
