We don't have to imagine, we saw him struggle vs Simon, Ayala, Gevor etc

      When Froch said this?

"It was tongue in cheek back then. I was being a bit cheeky and you can take those comments with a pinch of salt. What I will say though is this guy can ****ing punch: he's dangerous and if he can be avoided we'll avoid him. I'll stand by that and I don't give a ****.

        vs:

-Kessler (L, Golovkin doesn't one-punch guys at even 160, Kessler schools him)
-Ward (L, Golovkin doesn't one punch guys at even 160, Ward roughs him up)
-Froch (L, Golovkin doesn't one-punch guys at even 160, granite jaw and long)
-Dirrell (?, Dirrell is a physical nightmare for Golovkin, while also being a full-on 168lber; does the chin hold up?)
-Abraham (?, Golovkin sees a mirror of himself, with Abraham having the punch)

Fixed for you; there's no way on planet Earth that Alvarez or Cotto would allow themselves to be locked into 3-4 straight fights where their opponents had already been decided for them, let alone have both Charlo brothers put in a predicament where they may have to fight each other.

Doubt that HBO would put up the money/time commitment though.

I think he beats everyone convincingly except for Ward and Froch. Those two would give him the toughest fight. A fight with a prime Froch would be very intriguing and competitive. Ward would probably beat him.

Ward most likely beats him, Froch and Kessler are 50/50 fights. It's hard to pick a winner there. Both guys were big, tough, had good chins, and had enough skill to cause Golovkin real problems. Dirrell, well, Dirrell is a huge enigma no matter who he fights.

I think Kessler's a harder fight than Froch for GGG

Froch is tough and big enough to be a problem... I see this as a bruising, back and fourth fight. I don't think Froch is necessarily made for GG as beercules states, but Froch is there to be hit for sure and GG would have his moments! On the other hand Froch gets tougher when he can make a brawl happen and unlike Ward who can shut the door on this and beat up Froch inside, I don't see GG having those skills.

So...either GG sneaks by Froch, or not, either way Ward beats the winner.
Kessler beat Froch, why are so many people acting like Froch is a problem but Kessler isn't? They are very much equal fighters. If Golovkin might lose to Froch, obviously he might lose to Kessler. Mikkel was big, tough, had real power and more skill than Froch.

It's hard to tell, because Golovkin was a different fighter in 2009-2011. He wasn't as aggressive, as experienced and wasn't trained as well (he wasn't a big star and had a very low budget).

IMO the 2009 version of Golovkin would be 35/65 vs. Ward, 50/50 vs Froch, 45/55 vs Kessler, 75/35 vs Dirrell and 80/20 vs AA.
The 2015/2016 version of Golovkin wins Super 6.

G string decisions Allen Green and then his team insists all future opponent weigh 164 or less, after all they are the A side. His spot is filled by a different fighter and again Ward is crowned king
