He is probably not broke like most people think of being broke. But its been over a decade since his music was selling well. He has produced a few movies that have flopped and his promotional outfit was a money sink. A few stacks of hundreds aren't that much when your putting out as much as he probably does.

I wouldn't say that he is broke, but I read that Bowie left 70 million behind. If that's the case then I doubt any rapper such as 50 has more than half of that. We often read what Forbes says or what stars say, but in reality after taxes, fees etc... they aren't left with half IMO.

169 million US Bowie left from my understanding plus all the royalties coming off the releases of a few more albums in 2017 & beyond. He spent his last 18 months recording music for after he was dead...
