When's Lomachenko fighting someone worth a damn?

yeah, I remember him or his team stating he would fight the best fighters and not care about how many fights he had. Sadly, modern day fight fans are more worried about their fighters well being than the fighters themselves lolComment

There's not much to choose except Salido 2 and Salido said wants huge compensation. Walter's priced himself out, and someone from the Gamboa team said that Gamboa needed 1 to 2 more fights to get in the ring with Loma.
Loma said he might keep moving up if he doesn't get good fights. At 135 we could see him with Verdejo or Linares.
HBO has screwed up with Loma and GGG. They are both avoided and opponents want loads of money to lose. Instead of having GGG/Loma fighting 3 or 4 times against bums they should fight twice so they can afford to give their loser opponents more money. That's what i would do. That said Salido, Walters, and Gamboa are fights that are trying to get made.
It's just that with the current "prize fighting" model many guys just price themselves out. This model of boxing will fail and eventually in boxing the best will fight the best at their best or nobody will tune in.
We've seen it with Rigo, GGG, Lomanchenko, and Williams in older times. The current system in boxing doesn't work. Don't blame the fighters blame the corrupt system.
I reckon Loma probably is willing to fight top guys but his team really cooled down after the Salido thrashing and looked for a vacant strap. Tbh, Loma could still fighter lesser known title holders...which is pretty much anyone in those lower divisions. Those guys wouldn't cost much and Loma could unify an entire division old school.
If he does go up to 135, then he better fight LInares.Comment

If guys like Frampton can get top matches consistently, then there shouldn't be excuses. Rigo sadly priced himself out and actedt he diva (thought he'd have it better without Arum, *** that got him nowhere lol) so his example is different to the other guys.

You wanna send Loma in against a live body? He is on the same level as Salido, whom he couldn't even beat. He won't last against the world class opposition.Comment
