Only interesting because Provodnikov dropped Freddie Roach and hired Diaz.. lol.. But maybe a little sneaky on Roach part too because he knows Provo's flaws and weaknesses.. Plus of course the weight disparity, but not quite the same as Khan/Canelo because Cotto fought at 140 for most of his career and he's a small light middle

Makes sense for Cotto he get's a fighter he can look good against. I don't see how this makes sense for Ruslan though he will get killed and another beating along the lines of the abuse he took in the Matthysee fight. Ruslan chin is so good that he doesn't go down so even when he's outclassed he takes great punishment all 12 rounds. This will be an entertaining fight for as long as it goes on. But it will probably take 5 years off his life.

Might as well just abolish weight classes and set a specific weight for every single fight outside of the boundaries of today's weight divisions. 17 weight divisions is a joke as it is, and 5 champions per weight class is heresy.

provodnikov is just a punching bag,, he cuts easily and is a beat up fighter,, i guess hes the perfect guy to make cotto look good
