Right but my confidence that Rios can withstand punches from Provodnikov has gone way down.

Cotto-provo is worst than Canelo-khan no doubt. Provo is a JWW, Cotto a JMW.

Khan is a WW, Canelo weighs in 1 lb over JMM.

      Facts.

Suprised by he response. I like it, I think Provodnikov could trouble Cotto.

Ruslan fights at 147 right? Or atleast he has before.

Cotto's been fighting at Middleweight but everyone knows he's not a middleweight.

Ruslan fought Bradley at 147 so we know is power carried up. This is a better fight than most are giving credit for. Especially coming off of a loss.

Ruslan has an engine, he finished strong against Bradley and Matthysse.

I think down the stretch Ruslan could defintely trouble Cotto.

            I like the fight myself.

Agreed. And it's not like he's bringing him up to 160. I thought Cotto was going to experiment at 150/151 for the Marquez fight.

Ruslan was small at 147 though. He'll be tiny at over 150, like Cotto is small at 160. Bradley looked a lot bigger than him in their fight, and he himself is a bulky 140lber. It's alright to be fighting Bradley, a welterweight who has only weighed in at 147 once (in 2010), and Matthysse a solid 140lber, but not Cotto who is unlikely to be able to even reach 147. That's a severe weight and size disadvantage, and we know Cotto can punch at 154, and we know that Ruslan uses his face to block punches..

Ruslan has one hell of a chin though.

He ate Matthysse's punches for breakfast. Who'd you say hits harder Matthysse or Cotto? I'd say Matthysse.

Ruslan has a great chin, big engine and power in both hands, Cotto doesn't like that recipe.

Eh, good cash out fight for Provodnikov. His ceiling has been shown and he needs to ride off this sport with some brain cells still in him. I have a feeling he wouldn't stop after this though. Cotto will probably be overconfident and right there for his china chin to get cracked...it would be truly shameful if he tried to pitty-pat a decision over Ruslan.
