I hate when people on this site act like Lawyers, Anti-Doping investigators, and financial analyst...none of us know what goes on behind close doors, in negotiations, business meetings, network, mamger meetings, aggreements, etc.

In the late 90s and early 2000s, there were some terrible PPV shows, mismatches that should have been on ABC, USA, or at least HBO or Showtime

Im so sick of all this money talk on a boxing forum....boxing is prizefighting...duh....they all are in it for the money, its just funny how people on this forum are happy about this situation...YOU WONT GET PAID FOR IT, WIN OR LOSE...its ridiculous
but it's a business as well and if they have acted with gross negligence and not delivered what they promised to there investors ...then they must be held responsible.....it's like Mike Tyson with his alleged **** ...boxing is not just boxing...it's also a business and if you don't work within the law then you get what's coming to you...same as pacquaio with Nike now...it's mo different...PBC was handed a 200 million dollar investment which PBC would have said you get a return on that money.....and they have just washed it down the drain and that's the problem

I'd be surprised if Haymon beats both. I think at this point only TR has the upper hand. Does anyone have the odds on this?

No clue when this joke gets shut down. But the writings on the wall or you think it's a coincidence that the same time financial reports are released that show how bad a shape their investors are in that PBC either refuses to put out any events or sends all of them to showtime?

I recall and im behind Hoya when it pertains to that. I thought they had worked something out where Oscar was compensated $mil$?

As for these suits in particular, moreso TOp Rank, are hypocritical with their claims...we knowTRs in house formula and how theyve operated for yrs but Bob is saying Haynons wrong for it? Im siding with Haymon on this one...fk Arum. Crooks been raping fighters for yrs.

As for PBC im split honestly, i love boxing and the fact its accessible on basic cable but at the same time they can deliver such a great product in terms of matchups and significant bouts...but they dont, its puzzling. So if PBC goes under its not like were gonna miss out on big fights they never intended on making...but can and couldve.

When pbc inevitably fails, what do you think will happen to the fighters?

They would probably be absorbed by golden boy, toprank, and various other promoters.

I'm wondering how. Would Dibelle and MGM keep them? or since they might be exposed as puppet promoters they wont be able to keep them. They might have to auction them off like the chicks that do that for charity kind of thing and highest bidder wins?

Yeah Schaefers lawsuit was settled by Haymon cutting Golden Boy a huge check. Media reports at the time said the settlement was 10s of millions. But that was centered on Schaefer not acting on Golden Boy's best interest and not fulfilling his fiduciary duty to the company that employed him and the fighters that were stolen from his company. This new lawsuit is strictly aimed at PBC after that settlement and whether or not what Haymon is doing is actually legal and that he is putting on these events acting as both manager and promoter in violation of the Ali Act hiring sham promoters when he is the defacto promoter. People try to combine these lawsuits and even Haymon and his lawyers tried to file a motion to kick this back to the arbitrator from the Schaefer case and the judge laughed it out of court siding with Golden Boy that these are new claims.
