This is da thing ppl don't mention...3G said he fight Canelo at CW just not for a unification fight..Canelo vacate da belt he fighting him at 155 CW. .so if Canelo doesn't care about belts ..vacate ..ask 3G for a fight at 155 after..since he doesn't care about belts as most say..however, Canelo GB ask for da chances to defend that same belt he doesn't care about on may 7...all I care is about Canelo/GGG fighting don't care what weight..so Canelo should vacate then ask for a CW which 3G will accept..

How come nobody is asking him, as the WBC middleweight champion of the world, do you plan on defending your title against a middleweight?

Why are you holding on to the title if you don't plan on campaigning at middleweight?

Are you going to fulfill your mandatory obligation as a middleweight champion?

I can only imagine if Lebron James, Cam Newton or somebody else was pulling this type of **** in another more reputable sport. SMH

Canelo has been hand fed smaller fighters and gotten underserved fights since the day 1. You're right Canelo is so courageous for taking the super risky fight against old 147 fighters like Mayweather, Cotto and Shane Mosley. None of which he could even hurt despite being 20 lbls bigger.

Canelo has ONE "world class" win against Lara, and he got a gift decision.

Meanwhile GGG was literally being blackballed in germany and kept away from felix sturm for years by his own promoter. Now that he finally has some exposure and is figthing in the US, Canelo creates his own damn weight division and ***** boys like you DEFEND IT LOLOLOL

No but your right Canelo getting fed money fights against washed up smaller fighters totally means he should be able to hold the middleweight belt hostage and only fight drained middleweights and blown up ww/jrwws.

Canelo fought the 4 best JMW's on the planet CONSECUTIVELY !!

NOBODY in the sport of boxing had a better resume than Canelo from 04/2013 - 07/2014, he then fought Kirkland and Cotto.

Sorry to fk up your day, and your cool story bro, with facts.

That is absurd, and only a silly ****** would buy that ****.

They will make excuses and move in a different direction.

If they could beat him at 155, they would simply fight him now.

          Don't be ridiculous.

A Canelo fight would be a joke. Bradley just has more balls than 99.9% of the rest. He isn't afraid but the physical mismatch would be astounding!

I don't really care about this conversation, but.....

You guys all use amateur records as justification.

You all used it for Ward, when it came to him moving up for Kovalev.

" it doesn't matter that Ward started his professional career at 160, he fought at LHW in the am's "

              Right ?

Because Bradley fought at 154 in the am's.

The way I see it, Canelo cleaned out 154, except for Mayweather..... now he is looking at money fights until he decides to move to 160.

You have a fair point, and not really arguing, but it's not a big deal imho.

GGG and Ward weren't even in the same division, so how can it be the same as what Canelo is doing now?

I guess you don't give a fuck about weight divisions either eh?

You could at least try to keep it real

                  We'd Fight Ward at 164, 50-50 Split.....
Promoter Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions, who handle IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30 KOs), says a fight can certainly be worked out

Andre Ward Must Go to 164 or No Fight.....
Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas - Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, has made it absolutely clear that he's not going to bud

GGG would fight Ward on a 50-50 basis at 164.....

People don't mention that, because it is just fkn DUMB !!

And if you believe that, you aint too smart.

That is just more rubbish from Team Bull****.

FACT: if they could beat Canelo at 155, they would just fight him

That is a ridiculous excuse..... just like the ridiculous excuses they used to avoid Ward/Lara.

Figures, refuses to address my points and goes off on a tangent. But thanks for making my argument for me, again. Floyd is one of the few guys that's bigger than the belts, and been dismissive of those (they just collect dust). Yet he loves posing with his belt collection, and pays the sanctioning fees to defend his 154 belts at 147 vs Maidana lol. So obviously belts matter, dummy
