Dont kid yourself, canelo is at his peak right now. He is not going to crash through several more divisions and be the top dog.

All he has to do is break the record and continue his ko streak and it just may put him past Hopkins and DLH.

there's a reason why people call Mayweather Jr. a coward

LMAO at him fighting Khan, who he's fighting because he's realized even Rosado would ruin him. And Khan is better than anyone he's fought so far.
Not true fighting Manny, or rematch with Floyd are by far the biggest fight for Canelo. You can even make the argument that a rematch with Cotto this time on a Mexican holiday generates more ppvs and is a bigger fight for Canelo. Canelo has many options literally anyone he chooses to fight is a ppv and generates way more money then GGG gets fighting bums on regular HBO. And those 3 names I mentioned all have bigger fan bases and are proven ppv fighters unlike GGG who failed the one time he tried to fight on ppv. And khan has better credentials then probably anyone GGG has faced and damn sure more the Wade and he's naturally the bigger man then both Manny and Floyd who GGG called out and begged them to fight him so don't cry about fighting smaller guys when GGG is trying to fight guys who turned pro at either flyweight or featherweight and are much smaller then khan.

Canelo has the leverage and the belt means nothing and won't help him at the negotiations table. Either he fights on canelos terms because hes the bigger star or he gets no fight and keeps fighting bums like wade at 160. The big money is below and above 160 he has to move if he wants those fights. He's not a big enough draw to demand any fighters outside that weight to come to him.

GGG will either accept the rules or go make peanuts elsewhere. Boxing is a biz. We'll see who's the smart business man boxer and who's the chump change boxer. My money's on Canelo, whether he fights GGG or not.

Definitely. And why is no one bringing up GGG bragging he'd take on anyone 154-168? Selective memory most likely, or cognitive dissonance.

Actually he's smart, and you're not so bright if you think money isn't The Great Motivator. Cash is king and always will be. And in negotiations, those who have the upper hand ALWAYS make the rules. Don't haveta look far to see that... look at Canelo's last fight vs Diva Cotto.
You are whats wrong with boxing , talking bussiness this money that , your entire comment sounds like you work for Canelo or something , do you even watch boxing ? or just looking at contracts and figures ? whats wrong with you? saying Canelo makes more money is obvious , you know why ? i will tell yuo , its not because he is such an amazing boxer , its because he is from Mexico .
So you are correct Canelo can join the WWF and still make tons of money , but he wont be a HOF boxer thats for sure.
I hope most fans want to see the big fights , boxing wise , and not cheer a guy to demolish someone else on the negotiation table.... disgusting.

phisically he is still growing and getting stronger, and boxistically he is improving on every fight, thats not even up for debate, plus you add the expirience factor and all that is a darn good recipe a coupleof years from now, but i agree with you in something, he will stop at 160, i dont see him going any higher, but a couple of years from now he should be a big strong MW hitting the scales at around 159-160 of pure lean muscle...

Disgusting eh? I have been a boxing fan over 50 years. We're you even alive then? I can discuss whatever aspect of boxing I want to discuss here, even if you don't like it, chump. And I have in fact discussed ALL aspects of it. Isn't your mommy calling you for dinner little one? Take a hike.
