Prime Duran beats any version of Floyd. Lightweight to light Welter Duran absolutely destroys Floyd. Hagler, Moore versions of Duran ****s up the Floyd who ran from a plodding ginger Mexican.

Floyd Mayweather is one of the most overrated Slickster I have ever seen. Duran had a slicker defence because his was employed integrated with his offence, which is much much harder to pull off.

That's my major criticism of Floyd too, for as good as Floyd is purely defensive, he can switch up as well as say, Duran, as you mentioned, Leonard or Ali. There isn't that dynamism that you see in the truly upper tier greats.

I believe Duran, at his best, beats Mayweather at his best, any weight they wanna fight.

Floyd's only chance to beat Duran if he cherry picked him at the right time so there is a chance for Floyd.

But Floyd's best win is over smaller sized PAC coming off ko loss to jmm. So Floyd hasn't given anyone a reason why he would beat a peak Duran. I advise Floyd to come out of retirement sand pummel GGG at 160. That way people wouldn't underestimate Floyd historically. It don't matter that food lost to Castillo and maidana he beat GGG! So the 2 losses were off nights obviously

This is very true. Duran was dynamic. He had more dimensions to his game than Floyd. Floyd is just extremely good at what he does.

Duran said recently that he would have to break Floyd ribs to beat him, then switch up and down. This was actually a compliment to Floyds head defence. There was a lot of butt hurt Floyd fans after this. Watch these vids.

I doubt Floyd would beat GGG now but the Floyd of a few years a go might have run his way to a robbery decision.

Floyd still maybe able to run and make it a stinker of a fight he should do it. If GGG can't find Floyd's then I don't think Duran would have.

More like.. if GGG can't find Floyd then it's possible old, fat middleweight Duran can't. At Durans prime weights he finds Floyd and he finds him easy. Duran was fast hands and feet at that weight and mixed it up better than probably any fighter ever. He was very very intelligent with his agression. Duran was the GOAT at faints and integrating offence and defence. Floyd is a sucker for faints and doesn't like even semi intelligent pressure. Prime Duran would kill Floyd
