If Wilder beats Povetkin, he will prove A LOT of people wrong. Including myself.

Actions speak louder than words though. I don't know for certain the truth behind the delays, but its fact Wilder has had 3 awful voluntary defences, and has struggled quite badly in 2 of them.
A win over Povetkin would make him the clear contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, but it won't be easy.
He is saying all the right things though, I just hope it happens that way. I like Wilder, people assume I hate him though because I like Fury more and know he's the better fighter. I will be rooting for Wilder when this gets announced.Comment

There is no doubt in my mind that Wilder is the most skilled heavyweight we've seen in a long time. I don't see Wilder losing to anyone out here right now..although I think style wise..I could see Haye having a puncher's chance... and Wlad having a clincher's chance...
he is a bum.
Are u Wilder?Comment

I don't care what biased commentary, scorecards or compubox says I watched the fight with my own eyes
Szpilka made wilder miss, landed counters, stiffened wilders legs with cuffing shots, backed him up at times and shrugged off several straight right hands.
Szpilka was a cherry picked opponent to make Wilder look good, and while he did get the KO in the end it was rough seas up until that point.
Wilder made Szpilka look like a legitimate contender and a very tough opponent, and he's not that.
Wilder fans need to take off the rose colored glasses because it's plain as day that Wilder is NOT an elite level heavyweight, he's sloppy, he has no inside game, his jab is poor, he moves in straight lines and he can be backed up by small, light hitting opponents, oh and his punch resistance ain't great either. The guy lacks basic fundementals and he relies on "athleticism" against low level opponents, but the problem is, he ain't roy jones
He does have a very powerful right hand and some speed but that really is about it
He's a textbook example of how to protect a fighter and fool casual fans with little to no boxing knowledge, that's nothing new in boxing.Comment
