This is from the first round of his fight with Carl "The Truth" Williams. Pretty good fight. Morrison later goes down twice in the same round (with the 3 knockdown rule in effect), survives and stops Williams on his feet later on.

he was more than hype. he had a devastating left hook. he beat george foreman, and had some good gutty wins. he won the wbo belt also. the only time he was outboxed and beaten down was against lennox lewis when he was stopped on cuts. the other two times he got caught with huge shots in a fight against mercer he was winning, and then was stopped by michael bennett after he had bennett almost out. record was 46-3 with 40knockouts

Pinklon is also punch drunk and cannot speak in complete sentences. The Duke was not in Mercer's league, in terms of skill. Tommy was what he was, a hard punching white HW with a lethal left hook.

Go figure, your all over his nuts...

Now,now, young man, you should not downgrade Tommy just because he was white! Have you not learned anything from your bible? Remember what the bible tells us......all men are equal(no matter what the colour of there skin is).
                Later brother brologs.

Nice to see a period where heavyweights are in shape and move. I don't mind you getting gassed if you show some effort. Too much plod n' plug currently.

Tommy's stamina problems were very much due to the fact that he was always very tense in there.
After hitting Ray Mercer with shots that would have cold****ed just about any other fighter.....Tommy started falling apart when Mercer began giving it back to him.

Tommy was a massive, massive puncher. I would
say that punch for punch, he hit harder than Mike Tyson....but was obviously no where in Tyson's league as a fighter.

Morrison did indeed live up to his potential.....which was a KO puncher with many ups & downs.
