Kell Brook hits just as hard as Canelo

According to Matthew Hatton who fought both fighters he thought Brook hit a lot harder.
He got knocked down by Brook and wobbled at WW which is his natural weight, meanwhile Canelo drags him up to LMW and cant even wobble him

Maybe Khan picking Canelo was an easier choice than Brook after all

I think Canelos power is overrated, he barely shook Cotto and this is a guy who got dropped heavily by small guys like Pacquiao and Ricardo Torres
And Canelo barely won that fight, which means hes really on the same level as Cotto. If Khan fought Cotto at WW or LMW id give Khan a shot so why not with Canelo?

Hmmm I wonder whom Urango thoughy hit harder Alexander who destroyed him or monster puncher Bailey who hit Urango with his best shot and still lost.

Mayweather probably hurt Cotto more than Canelo.

Although to be fair Cotto looked really strong, unfortunately I think it stiffened him up, the time with MacMillan is is showing that MacMillan isn't as good as some here were touting.

I'll take Brook over all the other WW's except Bradley. Spence is not ready for Brook. Frustrating watching Brook fight C-level mandatories because Hearn is trying to save him for Khan. He even pulled him out of the Chaves fight. Brook could beat Rios, Thurman, Spence, Garcia, and Khan. Don't know if he could beat Timmy tho. That would make a good fight.

Cotto was on his bicycle all night rarely standing and trading toe to toe. Why was that if he doesn't hit hard? Because he and Roach knew if he stayed in the pocket he getting KO'd like Kirkland and Angulo did. Cotto came after Manny and engaged because he thought Manny was too small for him. If he fought that same reckless way against Canelo he get's KO'd in 3 rounds. And Canelo didn't barely win anything. I gave Cotto a max of 4 rounds that fight Canelo won pretty easily IMO.

As for Hatton he fought a 20 year old Canelo he is not the same fighter today that was a lifetime ago. It's like the idiots who said because a 19 year old Canelo got stunned NOT dropped against Cotto's punk @ss brother that meant Cotto was going to destroy Canelo. How did that work out? 19/20 year old Canelo and Canelo who is now a man, more skilled and has tons of big fight experience is not the same as Canelo who couldn't even go to a bar and get a drink after his fights.

I think Canelo has power, but that's when he is loading up. He could punch harder than he is right now if his coaches would actually work with him on a bit technique.
I wouldn't compare Brook fighting Hatton and Canelo fighting Hatton. The fight was at a 150 CW and Canelo even missed weight in multiple attempts. Canelo probably was missing something during the fight next day. And most likely Brook-Hatton was fought with 8 oz gloved and Canelo-Hatton with 10 oz gloves...

Yeah, sure, it's sad that he'd rather just fight No no Dan types. This guy hasn't done anything meaningful for one whole year since the Porter fight.

It's irritating to see his name constantly brought up. He beat a guy with a caveman style and all of a sudden he's hyped like he beat Golovkin.

OK so lets triangle theory this, Canelo knocked down Josesito Lopez (5x's) who knocked down Maidana who knocked down Broner who knocked down Porter who Brook couldnt even budge. With that said I beg to differ.

Sorry but why do we even still talk about kell brook at all

What has he done, why is he relevant?

I get that people kept talking about Andre Ward during his slow period. Andre had some great wins and was a cemented top fighter. People began to speculate.

But Kell Brook is a nobody. He is a marketing job. His whole schtick was that he was going to be to Khan what Groves was to Froch and sell a bazillion tickets for some UK feud match.

Didn't happen. He's a nobody. He's Groves if Froch never glanced at him.

It would be kind of tragic if a year from now Khan finally gives Brook the turd that big paycheck. It just sets an example for other boxers that doing absolutely nothing is more profitable than taking fights.

Yes he has 1 good win. It's like people being obsessed with Ross Puritty. Except Puritty's one win was roughly 100-200 times better.

Piece of crap! Kell Brook I'm gonna take a CRAP in your mouth you overrated POS!
