Brook is the best Welterweight in the world. Obviously the fat yanks will pretend not to rate him, but we all know he batters the likes of Thurman and Bradley from pillar to post. Too big, too strong.

i agree with you, canelo is overrated, he is so plodding and flat footed i say this as a fan of both canelo and brook.
let's be honest though khan is going to have to have the fight of his life to survive 12 and even then he'll probably get robbed.

In boxing, it's about who you beat with the talent and skills.

              Orly?

I never claimed that Brook has the best resume. However i believe that he would beat anyone at the weight not named Floyd Mayweather.

Anyway if that's the case, why are people claiming that the likes of Deontay Wilder & Luis Ortiz are the best heavyweights in the world? They've not beaten anyone.

It's the eye test my friend.

Well you said best welterweight in the world. To me, resume is paramount when making that claim. And I agree regarding those heavyweights, they aren't the best. Doesn't make them right and doesn't make you right.

Making it hard to rank the likes of Roy Jones Jr high amongst ATG's

Brook looked like a very solid fighter in the Porter fight, he needs to follow it up. I have no issue ranking him 3rd best behind Pacquiao and Bradley based on his win over undefeated champion Porter, but he has really let it slide. Bradley-Brook makes too much sense after the Pacman fight.

That would be true if Jones' resume wasn't plain outstanding.

That's a change of tune. A win against Porter doesn't prove **** unfortunately. We don't hand out "best" labels on hypotheticals.
