I've been cringing every fight since Glen Johnson...was at my moms, visiting from school, said hey your boy is fighting today.

Watching an athlete that was basically superman get battered round after round then watch the back of his head bounce of the ground like that, I went
    6 months without watching boxing

they should have forceably got hi out the game like others in the past

I dont even know the guy and it hurts to see him fight
I would send more green K if I could great post.

A decline with age is expected, it happens to them all, but to see what was one of the best fighters of all time losing to the likes of Danny Green in one round is just hard to accept.

Ultimately, the last time I seen the real Roy Jones was when he won the HW title. When talking about RJJ that's what I'm thinking about, his run of complete dominance 1989-2003, the shell of a fighter after that is not relevant to his greatness IMO.

        The "Game****"

        Made History

American-turned-Russian boxer Roy Jones, Jr. has ended his athletic career and will now focus on music, the sports director of the Patriot promoter company said.

What’s Eating Roy Jones Jr: When Should The Boxing Legend Hang Up Gloves?
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Jones, 46, received Russian citizenship in 2015.
“No fights, we really don’t want him fighting. I think it would be logical to say [that Jones has ended his boxing career],” Dmitry Luchnikov told R-Sport by telephone.

Luchnikov said Jones would expand his musical talent in Russia and is planning a tour. The promoter did not specify which type of music or in which capacity Jones would launch his musical career.

The silver medalist in the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games and an absolute world champion in the middleweight division was granted Russian citizenship on September 12 last year by an order of President Vladimir *****. As of now, he holds dual US-Russian citizenship.

In December, Jones opened his first boxing school in the Moscow Region to promote sports in Russia.

Ukraine banned the boxer from entering the country following his visit to Crimea and application for Russian citizenship for "creating a threat to national security."

Roy Jones is TOP 15 in my book he's higher than B Hop AND mayweather and any other of the last generation when mayweather was in and the generation roy jones, b hop & james toney was in.
in his PRIME you cant really pick ANY fighter at their peaks that could actually beat him from JUNIOR MIDDLE-MIDDLEWEIGHT-SUPER MIDDLE-LIGHT HEAVY and say it with conviction
