I've lived in a soviet nation for a decade, extensively traveled the world , lived as a poor immigrant in the States, speak multiple (that's more than 2) languages, and currently work for a fortune 50 company.

You're looking for sensationalist articles on Youtube. Have you even had a conversation with a russian person in your life?
    Tremendous post.

There is some extremists, as there is elsewhere, and there's possibly more of them than elsewhere, (though Russian racism is targeted more at the ****** ********** than blacks) but this doesn't mean that anywhere close to a majority of EEs can be considered racist - though of course there is still widespread racial stereotyping, but that is hardly unique to Eastern Europe.

Regardless of whether you agree with that or not (and you are, of course entitled to your opinion) - applying any generalisation or preconception about a group to the individuals within it, as you have done with your throwaway comment about the Lomachenkos is simply indefensible.
Interesting and well worded post, so what do you think about the comments that have been made by kovalev for example?

And I haven't just completed a quick YouTube search this is something that has been discussed in numerous occasions in the British press bbc panorama did a show on it. A well known black Brit Reggie Yates travelled over and documented it. Just denying it and saying I lived there for a decade as a white male is hardly concrete evidence that this isn't something that is a known problem in the eastern block.

Russia are hosting the World Cup the majority of Europe was in uproar because of the known issues with racism and prejudice. Ukraine and Poland also recently hosted the tournament again it was plagued with hatred and ignorance. Other than I lived there it's not racist what evidence do you have to support your claims?

I didn't say there wasn't racism. All I was getting at is that for a country to be considered racist it only takes a small percentage of the population to be actively prejudiced, possibly even only a few % (and the rates may be much higher than that in parts of EE). Certainly membership of far-right, nationalist or anti-immigrationary groups do not come close to representing a majority of the population, though I guess the question then becomes 'what do you consider racist?'

And, once again, whether or not you consider Eastern Europe as a whole to be 'racist' however you choose to define it (and I believe that comparably, it probably is) - it is not acceptable to take that generalisation and apply it to individuals - which was my original point.
