Thompson might get KO'ed and he's going to say he only had one month of training. But he talked a lot and offered himself up with short notice so he'll have to put up or shut up.

If nothing else, southpaw vs southpaw will provide somewhat of an interesting fight. I expect Ortiz to blast him out of there in 5 rounds..

Jennings weighed in at a shredded 229 pounds, is that not a heavyweight for you?

I wonder if they will get all the hate PBC got last year.
Do you think they could have found a better opponent on short notice? The fight is in less than 4 weeks man. No fighter with something to lose would jump in here. So you cant blame HBO for that.

Yea, but you can blame HBO for the collection of piss poor cards they are feeding us for the first half of the year. So sorry, I kinda don't wanna hear it.

Tompson has a punchers chance at best and even thats not likely against a rioded out gorilla. Tompson has is 44yrs old and has been in some serious battles with top HWs theres alot of mileage on his odometer and what does tompson have 3 weeks to train?

Wow no respect for the veterans, the gatekeepers. Thompson is a tough fight for any fighter in the division. If Ortiz screws up, takes him lightly, it will not go well for him.

Such disrespect...thompson is cagey and comes to fight. If its an easy night for Ortiz so be it, but Thompson has a few more rounds in him.
